Good News Time

The season's coming to an end and we can all look forward to a well earned break from the hardship of losing heavily every week....or can we? Nope - Manager Simon and yours cruelly are planning our summer friendlies already to ensure we all keep in peak condition for the new season and a triumphant push for mid-table mediocrity in Division 2.

Anyway - the good news - the annual club bash will shortly be upon us so book your diaries NOW - talk is currently about the May Day bank holiday Saturday so let either Mark or Simon know if this is no good, as we would like everyone to attend. We are hoping that the event will be help in the Wreck and we will be inviting all partners, of course. There's even talk of getting Karaoke in... You can't wait, can you?

Club Player goes Valentine Mad! (with Martin...!!)

I'm sure that the majority of us will have been blissfully unaware of Valentine's day this year. My postbag certainly wasn't bulging! However, in a daring move Craig Cunningham went one better than the rest of us. Seems he decided Alex (his better half) needed a little run around (a car that is), and enlisted the assistance of Martin in obtaining said run-around - a Ford Fiesta. Bearing in mind Martin's usual handling of cars (Banger Racing) you have to wonder whether this was a good move. The vehicle in all its glory was delivered on the day complete with red ribbon, shortly after Alex had rather mysteriously received the Insurance Documents - surely a must with one of Martin's Cars!

This is Your Newsletter

You think you can do so much better don't you?

Well scribble it out on the back of an old fag packet, or type it up as a Word Pro or Word thingamajig and I'll faithfully reproduce your muses in the next issue (if there is one!).

The Captain's Corner

After last months shocking revelation that our esteemed leader was a little miffed at not obtaining man of the match votes things have improved a little. Well he picked up 3 votes in last week's game at Quendon. However, so upset was Rick that he has packed up his gear and moved to Braintree. Good luck to him and Michelle in their new house. And please - don't bring those photos in again! The teams stomach just isn't up to it!

It's just down the road love, I did all the work on it myself"

Competition Time

Well - we were all wrong last week - Only 1 change in Damon's and Martin's car.

This months Competition is as follows;

Following the amazing goal Simon scored against Quendon 2 weeks ago how many own goals will he score before his next proper goal?

a) None (2,000 to 1)
b) 1 (1999 to 1)
c) 2 (1998 to 1)
d) 15 (500 to 1)
e) 47 (4 to 1 favourite)

(Go on Simon - prove me wrong!!)
