What's
your best moment in football generally? (e.g. Leeds Utd winning the
championship etc) On the 8th May 1971 Arsenal came from behind to
take the FA Cup and their historic first double. Only five day's previously
the Gunners had won the league with a win over old enemies Tottenham,
and now they faced Liverpool in the final of the cup. My magic moment
came in the 111th minute of the game, when a weary Charlie George
received the ball in the Liverpool area and, under pressure, from
20 yards out cannoned the ball past Ray Clemence's outstretched fingers.
What a brilliant goal, absolute magic - the double was ours!
-
What's
your best moment in football with Dunmow F.C. Can't think of anything
- only kidding! When I scored my first goal for the club - in the

Mart)!
